Community Guidelines
Effective July 10, 2026
SkillPin is built for discovery and connection, and that only works when people feel safe. These guidelines explain the kind of behavior and content we allow on the service.
1. Be respectful
Use SkillPin to share useful information, not to attack, harass, or intimidate other people. We do not allow abusive behavior, hate, threats, or bullying.
2. No objectionable content
Do not post or share content that is sexual, violent, hateful, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable. Keep your profile, messages, and public posts appropriate for a broad audience.
3. No scams or spam
Do not use SkillPin to run scams, spread phishing links, send spam, or mislead people with fake profiles or deceptive claims.
4. No impersonation or fraud
Do not pretend to be another person or organization. If you represent a business, school, or community, make that relationship clear and accurate.
5. Protect privacy
Do not publish personal information that you do not have permission to share. That includes addresses, private contact details, location data, or any information that could put someone at risk.
6. Report and block
If you see harmful content or abusive behavior, flag it in the app. If someone targets you, block them. Blocking removes them from your feed immediately and notifies the developer so the issue can be reviewed.
7. Moderation
We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts when rules are violated. We aim to act on valid objectionable-content reports within 24 hours.
